Holy chips, Batman! Today greets the arrival of the second offering from Elizabethtown, KY native Nick Hagman aka Nario. The followup to 2009’s Most of Me, the astutely titled More of Me is all chip all awesome all the time. The seven sizzlin’ songs here boast varied influences from rock, electro pop, dance, industrial and more, all neatly bundled into a retro 8-bit package of blip love and hot groove.
Nab the digital release here or at bandcamp today, or go to Locus Tangibles to pre-order the CD with two bonus tracks! Yay!

Rainbowdragoneyes - The Primordial Booze
On March 3, 2011, the Primordial Booze was released into this world; alike to a brutal spunk of unmitigated awesome and ferocity. Any who find themselves within its unerring stream shall be forced to dance and headbang and party for eternity, until all the world’s a pit and all its men and women mere viking rave animal slaves who rage perpetually in pounding, snarling 8-bit bliss, forever and ever, amen. I myself have imbibed the mighty sploodge: I just danced while taking a piss, in complete disregard of the fact that I was painting the world with electric yellow wash; it covers the walls, the floor, my shoes, my pants, my hair, my immortal soul… the piss itself began to congeal into miniature humanoid forms and dance and thrash around me in a circle. One piss-man was bigger than the others, and he ensnared my spirit, wrapping it around his fist. He flowed up and into my ears, through the cochlear forests and cranial canyons, to rest upon my brain; whence he stretched my spirit long and made of it a bullwhip which he used to lash my mind into useless, whimpering submission, making it subject to his every whim and fancy, reshaping me for his own dire purposes into another wave of the almighty Booze, that I might flow in and out and over and through and around and sideways and fill and infect and destroy and shape all that I encounter.
This is I, pawn of the Primordial Booze.
I do this of my own free will.

Skrow015
The crudely-drawn floating head returns as a vengeant stormcloud, curling forth with great malignance to swallow your pathetic unsuspecting city. Noisy synths rumble and bounce across jagged beats, the occasional slice of guitar flashing briefly in the night sky. Five chunks of unusual barometric pressure which will make you unsure whether to dance, headbang, or throw yourself on the floor and hallucinate. We suggest all three, simultaneously if possible. You may need to use gaffer’s tape to keep those headphones on. Goodnight, Mr. Moon!

Cigarettes & Clip-Art - Tanks for the Mammaries (Cigarettes & Clip-Art remix) / Doin' Dishes (For Sure)
A remix of a remix, and a hot slab of experimental dance comprise this, the first release from the crudely drawn floating head which calls itself Cigarettes & Clip-Art, and also the first “single” release here on Skrow!.
The artist sent me an email with the following in description of the two-part, one-track medley:
“Slopped (literally slopped) together remix of Bukkake Earlobe’s “Tanks for the Mammaries”. It is full of bells and whistles (not literally), and a snare drum that had no business sneaking up behind me.”
I’m not entirely certain how a floating head goes about sending an email, though I would imagine there’s telekinesis involved. Watch out for that! Meanwhile, enjoy this.
